What do you hope to accomplish in the 2018 session?
To set up a framework for meaningful change to our state's structural deficit through cuts to non-core government programs and elimination of chrony capitalistic tax policy.
What do you hope the Legislature will accomplish?
A movement away from discussions on tax increases and focus in on the almost $1 billion in annual agency pass through spending that can be reduced or eliminated. We also need to reform our tax code, moving to a low rate, broad base, while eliminating preferential treatment of special interest and especially refundable tax credit payments made to entities who do not have income tax liability.
What should people know about you?
I will be leaving the State Senate in 2018 in keeping with my 2010 campaign promise to only serve two terms in the Oklahoma State Senate.
