What do you hope to accomplish in the 2018 session?
Anything I can do to help improve the health of all Oklahomans.
What do you hope the Legislature will accomplish?
Reconcile our state budget with undoubtedly yet another shortfall. Begin work on reversing our state's opioid epidemic. Come up with a way to increase teacher pay.
What should people know about you?
I will retire from my medical practice most likely within the next five years. With all these health-care changes occurring at a state as well as a federal level, I am significantly more concerned as a health-care consumer than as a health-care provider. I want to help make sure Pam and I and our five children and all Oklahomans will have access to the medical procedures and surgeries and medications that we need in the future to keep us healthy.
