What do you hope to accomplish in the 2018 session?
I'm running several important pieces of legislation ranging from issues such as restraining orders to auditing government entities to protecting our state from the illegal ivory trade and so forth. However, perhaps my biggest piece of legislation in 2018 is an aerospace incentive program that has the ability to bring in near $4 billion in economic activity and thousands of new jobs to our state.
What do you hope the Legislature will accomplish?
I'm hopeful we're able to get a clear understanding of financial mismanagement going on in our government's agencies and formulate a way for the state to continue to follow the dollars so that the same issues do not fall on future Legislatures. I'd also like to see us get to a place where we set Oklahomans up for success; invest in the economy, compensate our teachers and state employees appropriately, ensure that essential programs are not in danger of being cut, create new jobs, etc
What should people know about you?
The House of Representatives is my only employment. I spend all my efforts on the work I do in the House and it's my greatest privilege serving House District 101.
